Who We Are
Mommy’s Sweet Treats & Company was founded in 2018 by Dr. Charlee King after her own life-changing breastfeeding journey. Following a traumatic childbirth experience, Dr. King knew she wanted to breastfeed her daughter but quickly realized that having the desire to breastfeed was not enough. Although she was in the hospital, she struggled to find the education, guidance, and support she needed to successfully begin her breastfeeding journey. Once she returned home, she didn’t know where to turn for help or even that lactation consultants existed.
Determined to change that experience for other mothers, Dr. King immersed herself in breastfeeding education and maternal health. As she learned more, she noticed that many breastfeeding mothers relied on homemade teas, brownies, and other recipes to help support milk production. She wanted to create a convenient, delicious option that mothers could easily enjoy at home, at work, or on the go. Since cookies are one of the most loved and portable snacks, Mommy’s Sweet Treats & Company was born.
Our signature lactation cookies are thoughtfully formulated with ingredients traditionally used to support mothers throughout their breastfeeding journey while providing a convenient snack for busy parents.
What began as a lactation cookie company has since grown into a comprehensive maternal health education brand. Today, Mommy’s Sweet Treats & Company offers breastfeeding education courses, books, digital resources, educational brochures, breastfeeding planning tools, latch technique guides, pumping resources, maternal health education, and community outreach programs designed to empower families from pregnancy through postpartum.
Our mission is simple: to ensure that no mother feels unsupported, uninformed, or alone while navigating her breastfeeding journey. We believe that every family deserves access to evidence-based education, practical resources, and compassionate support that allows them to make informed decisions for themselves and their babies.
